Happy New Year

Just playing with a new kit that I got so thought I would wish you all a Happy New Year. Lets hope that 2012 is a wonderful year for us all.

The Cat in the Hat

This is a photo taken a few years ago of my Great Niece Layne when she was dressed up as The famous Cat in the Hat. I have always loved Dr Seuss and couldn't resist the chance to do a page with him. Sorry Dr Seuss my Chief Editor  tells me that I have spelt your name wrong on the quote. I am sure you won't mind as you are after all a quirky fellow.

Christmas Day 2011

This year we made a change to tradition and went for a picnic at Queen Elizabeth Park in Paekakariki. It was a fabulous day out and no dishes to do afterwards. The water was so warm. Very unusual for this time of year. Will definitely be doing this again.
