Friday Fantasy Challenge

Yet another challenge. This one had to have four seasons on the same page. The requirements were a green meadow with flowers, lambs and chickens. Children on a beach, a wooden shed with a wheelbarrow and autumn leaves and then a house in the snow with a Christmas tree and a snowman. There are at least 10 different photos on this page and you had to blend them all together to make one. I have to say this was a real challenge and not as good a some of the others in the group but I learnt heaps while doing it.  Have done nothing else though and now I need to do some chores.

Challenge In a Word - Mellow

This weeks challenge word. Lots of people did Donovan and Mellow Yellow, so I had to think of something different.

Satin and Lace

This is just me having a play around with the new kit I got called Satin and Lace. I took the photo from the net. I thought she was very glamorous and is a Varga girl which I had never heard of until a few days ago. They were Glamour girls from the 30"s and 40's

Happy Anniversary

This card is for my very good friend Jan and her husband Neil. They were married 50 years ago yesterday and I couldn't let it pass without sending my very best wishes to them both. What a wonderful achievement.

Jimmy Gilbert

This is a new technique that I am trying to master. Masking is where you put the photo under a layer and then rub out some of the layer to expose the photo. 

Challenge - Art Journal

This was a challenge I had to do for an Art Journal. Seeing as Dad has passed none of his drawing talents on to me I used his sketches of Mum that he did when he was at War.

Challenge

Another challenge. Had to have a part of the photo in black and white and have hands it it somewhere. A bit tricky cutting the hands out but it's amazing what you can find on google.

Monthly challenge "A New Leaf"

Photo I took a few years back outside my back door. Not often you see a Tui so close up. He was happy to sit there and be photographed. This is the  monthly challenge on Daisytrail.
